With much smaller class sizes that allow each student plenty of 1-1 personal support from the tutors and the opportunity to fit your life around your lectures, anyone can easily discover Plymouth University Courses with Truro and Penwith College. The Courses on offer are easily accessible to students of all ages and most only require a minimum of 24-32 UCAS Points - that's equivalent to one A Leve

l at grade D-C. Offering Foundation Degrees, HND/HNC qualifications and BA top-up years, our tuition fees are also much lower than the national average. Charging only £8,224* per year for new students for the first two years, our courses are very affordable.

A huge congratulations to Sam, who is celebrating an incredible First in LLB Law. 👏

Sam returned to education after 16 years away, completing an Access course, balancing university with raising three children, and overcoming numerous challenges along the way, Sam's hard work has been rewarded with the highest degree classification.

"Without tutors like Terrina and Emma, I wouldn't have done it."

Next stop: a Master's degree at the University of Law in London. 🎉

A huge congratulations to Nadeem Saldar, who is celebrating an incredible First Class Honours degree in BSc Applied Computing Technologies. 🎓

After returning to education following a 22-year break, balancing his studies with work and family life, Nadeem's hard work has paid off.

"It was tough, but I put my focus on it. I made some priorities and made sure I was focusing time on my studies."

Nadeem is now looking ahead to the next stage of his journey, having applied to study MSc Cyber Security at Plymouth University.

This year marks a significant milestone for Cornwall SCITT, celebrating its 25th cohort of trainee teachers achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

As part of the University Centre Truro & Penwith teacher education pathway, we're proud to celebrate the success of the latest cohort of Primary and Secondary trainees, who marked the culmination of a year defined by resilience, professionalism, reflection, and growth. More than 76% of this year's graduates achieved First Class or Upper Second-Class Honours, reflecting the dedication, resilience and ambition of our students.

This year's graduating cohort includes learners who returned to education after significant breaks, balanced studies alongside family and work commitments, and are now progressing to exciting opportunities including postgraduate study and new careers.

TICKETS NOW LIVE: Book your place at Graduation 2026 🎓

Congratulations to everyone who collected their results today. Students are encouraged to celebrate their success with us at Truro Cathedral on Saturday 17 October 2026.

The ceremony is free for students to attend, with additional charges for gown hire, photography packages, and guest tickets.

To ensure everyone has the opportunity to celebrate with their family and friends, and due to the venue's limited capacity, guest tickets are initially limited to two per student. Any remaining guest tickets will go on general sale later in the year.
