Children of Towan Kindergarten is a small, play-led preschool where childhood, individuality and time outdoors really matter.

Based in Porthtowan, Cornwall, our children spend their days playing, exploring, creating, getting muddy, heading to the beach and building genuine relationships with the adults and children around them.

It is about seeing the child beneath the behaviour: their energy, imagination, relationships, needs and natural way of meeting the world.

We would love to invite all of our preschool leavers and their families to join us for a special Graduation Picnic as we celebrate an incredible time together.

🗓 Saturday 25th July 2026
🕚 11:00am – 1:30pm

This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your child’s time with us, receive their learning folders, say goodbye to friends and staff, and enjoy one last play together before their exciting new adventure at school begins.

We're looking for passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our wonderful team at Children of Towan Kindergarten in beautiful Porthtowan, Cornwall, starting 3rd September 2026.

✨ Current Vacancies
🌿 Permanent Practitioner – 3 days per week
🌿 Fixed-Term Maternity Cover – 2 days per week (approximately 15 months)

🕣 Hours:
8:30am–3:30pm (preferred) or 9:00am–3:00pm

💷 £12.85 per hour | Paid Monthly

A simple moment… but an important one.

A child carefully building higher and higher—until they reached a point where they could go no further.

There was a pause. A hesitation. A moment of decision.

With gentle support and reassurance, they chose to try.
