📚🗓️Nearly back to school time! ✏️📖

Please look out for an email tomorrow containing our school newsletter. This will include lots of important and useful information, so please make sure you take some time to read through it. 📧

Tomorrow, we will also be holding our Settle-In Session, which will take place slightly earlier, from 2:00–2:30pm.

You are very welcome to drop in with your child during this time to have a look around their new classroom, see their new seating space and help them get back into the swing of school. 😊

Whilst we’ve been having a super summer, work still continues at school - the Forest School area is coming on with a new shed, water wall and mud kitchen and a canopy has been built in Robin Class outdoor area. 🥰 Thank you to everyone that has helped. ❤️

Today was the day we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 6s. 💙

After an emotional Leavers’ Assembly, the children were given a very special Cusgarne send-off in true style. It was a fitting celebration of all they have achieved and the memories they have made during their time with us.

We wish each and every one of you the very best of luck for the future. We know you will go on to achieve amazing things. We are so proud of you all. 🌟

Today we looked back at everything we’ve learned during our time at the farm. We reflected on seeing nature from a creature’s point of view, binding our field journals and learning how spending time outdoors benefits both our physical and mental wellbeing.

We also explored how building a connection with nature helps us care for it and discussed the difference between an ego and an eco perspective, finishing with the idea of the ecological self.

A lovely day of reflection, learning and celebrating our journey together. 🌱💚

A huge heart felt thank you to Jemma Growing Minds Organically and Cusgarne Organic Farm Shop for hosting us the past 6 weeks. We very much hope we can return in the future.

Thank you Robin Class for an amazing day at the beach. We played in the sand and jumped the waves and had a great giggle. Thank you to the Friends of Cusgarne for buying our ice lollies. I hope you all slept well, I know I did. 😂🤣❤️ Here are some photos of the day.

🌟 Lunchtime Leadership! 🌟

At lunchtime today, one of our fantastic Year 5 pupils independently ran a coding club for children in Years 3–6. 💻✨

It was wonderful to see his confidence as he led the session, sharing his expert coding skills and patiently supporting younger pupils as they learned. His enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to help others made him an excellent role model.

We are incredibly proud of his initiative, leadership, and the positive impact he had on everyone who attended. Well done! 👏🌟
