The workshop focuses on building students’ oracy skills and communication confidence — helping them become confident speakers, active listeners, and effective communicators in all areas of life.

Throughout the day, students will be supported by expert trainers as they prepare and deliver their own two-minute presentations on topics they’re passionate about. 💬

We’re incredibly proud of our brilliant Year 9 students who took centre stage during Culture Week to engage in a thought-provoking Q&A with our guest, local MP Daniel Zeichner.

From discussing sustainability and international affairs to tackling local issues and even finding out his football allegiance (Cambridge United, of course 💛)—our students asked bold and insightful questions that showcased the curiosity, confidence, and community spirit we value at Trumpington.

Culture Week has been a true celebration of identity and diversity, and we’re so thankful to all who helped make it special! 🌍✨

We're so proud of our incredible students for making Culture Week such a vibrant celebration of identity, heritage, and community 🌍💫

We were delighted to welcome (local MP) Daniel Zeichner and appreciate him recognising the creativity and spirit shown across the school.

This week truly highlighted the diversity that makes Trumpington—and Cambridge—so special.

Great to visit Trumpington Community College during their inspiring Culture Week!

It was a real pleasure to see so many thoughtful and talented students, including Olivia in Year 11, celebrating their heritage through music, traditional food, quizzes and vibrant cultural dress. A wonderful example of the richness and diversity we’re so lucky to have here in Cambridge.

Thank you to staff and students for the warm welcome and for putting on such a fantastic celebration of identity and community.
