What a fabulous first week back we’ve had! The sun has been shining, the smiles have been bright, and the children have loved spending longer periods outdoors — especially exploring our fantastic new park. A huge thank you to Trull Parish Council, it has been a big hit! 😊
Outdoor play is so important for children’s development. It supports physical health, builds strength and coordination, encourages teamwork, and gives children the space to develop confidence, resilience, and imagination through active play.
We also dove into our exciting new theme, Amazing Animals, starting with our topic Under the Sea. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the aquarium, taking a closer look at sea creatures and shells, and sharing their favourite ocean animals with one another. Exploring new themes like this helps to develop language skills, curiosity, and early scientific thinking as children ask questions, make observations, and expand their vocabulary. It also nurtures creativity and a sense of wonder about the world around them.
It’s been a joyful, engaging start to the term, we can’t wait to see where our learning adventures take us next! 🌊🐠☀️
