A throwback to summer last year and some beautiful hats (and wonderful children) to remind you that this week is going to be hot and children need:
☀️hats
☀️water bottles
☀️suncream applied before school
Children can wear PE kits, to keep them as cool as possible, but please ensure these are in line with school uniform.

We had a visit from Trowbridge Library on Monday to launch this year's Summer Reading Challenge. Lots of the children were really enthusiastic about taking part. Head down to the library to sign up! 😀📖📖📖

Yesterday was day 1 of Bikeability for our 1st group of Year 6 children. What an amazing opportunity to develop key skills which will keep them safe when out and about on their bikes 🚲

Miss Brine and Mrs Gingell will be back in their normal Grove uniforms tomorrow and you can be as well!
Now that temperatures have dropped, according to the weather forecast, children need to wear normal uniform tomorrow unless it is one of their scheduled days, to wear their PE kit.
Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow for another amazing (but cooler) week at The Grove 🌳

School will reopen tomorrow (Friday 26th June) but Sports Day will still be postponed until Wednesday 15th July.

All children can wear PE kits (similar to arrangements at the beginning of the week) and need to bring a water bottle, hat and ensure they have sun cream applied before the start of the school day.

As we did at the start of the week, we will have lots of adaptations in place to keep the children safe and cool.

Our beautiful site has given us lots of shade over the last two days (see photos above 🤗) but tomorrow and Thursday are projected to be even hotter. Updates related to reopening will be sent via email and shared on social media.
