☀️ ☀️ ☀️ The sun certainly had his hat on today- and so did we! 👒 🧢

This morning we went out on to the school field to enjoy the sunshine before it got too hot. 🥵

The children loved exploring the large open space, kicking balls, running round and round and just generally enjoying the ‘freedom’ and warmth!

😀 Those smiles say it all! Let’s hope the sunshine stays! ☀️

🍎🍞 Snack time. A popular time for a lot of children at nursery. And such an important part of our daily routine with loads of learning opportunities.

✨ **Pouring Milk:** allowing children to enhance their fine motor skills and building confidence in their independence! 🥛

✨ **Buttering Toast:** learning about taking turns, asking for help and developing fine motor skills. 🥯❤️

✨ **Counting:** this is modelled by an adult then children practice counting out from a larger amount when selecting their fruit. 🔢

✨ **Shape Recognition:** Toast is cut into different shapes and the children name which shape they would like for their snack. 🔺▪️🟡

✨ **Social Interaction:** Snack time also provided a wonderful opportunity for social interaction and teamwork. Whether sharing smiles or discussing their favorite snacks, the kids practiced vital social skills in a warm environment! 🤝😊

🥞🎉 Happy Pancake Day! 🎉🥞

What a deliciously fun day we had in nursery! The children let their imaginations run wild as they mixed up their very own pancake creations. From colorful “batter” to unique toppings, our little chefs truly brought the joy of Pancake Day to life! 🌈✨

In our mud kitchen, they pretended to cook up a storm, flipping their imaginative pancakes with excitement and laughter. And of course, the best part was serving their tasty creations to their friends—smiles all around! 🍽️❤️

It’s so wonderful to see their creativity and teamwork shining through. Happy Pancake Day from all of us at nursery! 🥰🥞

Last week in nursery, we’ve been inspired by the classic tale of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff"! 📖🐐✨ Our little builders jumped into action as the children selected their construction material of choice and building strong bridges for their goat friends to cross. It’s incredible to see their imaginations at work, as they connect the story with hands-on play! 🤩💖

We love how stories inspire our little ones to explore, create, and cooperate. Who knew building could be so much fun? 🛠️🦙

🌟✨ Nursery Fun Alert! ✨🌟

Last week at nursery, our little explorers discovered just how much joy can come from a simple box! 🪣💖 It's amazing to see their imaginations come alive as they take turns transforming it into anything they dream of— from a dark cave to a cosy house!

The laughter fills the room as they share ideas, collaborate, and create their own adventures. It's incredible how something so simple can spark endless creativity and fun! 🎨🤹‍♂️

🎄🎶 What a festive day we had at Nursery today! 🎶🎄

We kicked off our Jolly Jingle event with the children singing some cheerful Christmas songs, and the best part – the families joined in too! 🥰 It was so special to see everyone singing and spreading the holiday cheer together.

After the songs, we got creative with some fun Christmas crafts 🎨✂️, and of course, we couldn’t forget the mince pies! 🥧 A perfect way to wrap up a wonderful event of festivities and family fun.

Thank you to everyone who joined us – it was truly a magical moment! ✨🎅

This week we have been 🎉CELEBRATING🎉
We have been talking about what it means to celebrate and different events throughout the year that are celebrated by our families.
Here is a snippet of the wonderful celebrations the children have explored:
🎊we had a party with party poppers, blowers, balloons and confetti.
🎊we have been making pomanders, cards and glittery stars.
🎊 we created Rangoli patterns and enjoyed playing with coloured rice.
🎊we made marks in glitter like fireworks
🎊we made cards to mark different celebrations.
And so much more!

It has been so lovely to hear the children share with us what is celebrated at home with their families.
