Just like that another year has come to an end, it would make for a very long post if we mentioned all the amazing things that have happened this year but we thought we would try look back on some of them.......
Our Year 6 pupils became 9th in Great Britain at Dodgeball after attending the national finals, we qualified for county finals in Tri Golf and Athletics and we had teams compete in Tag Rugby, Cricket, Football and Cross Country.
Our year 2s and 6s stepped out on the stage at the Forum in Bath at the KS1 and KS 2 dance festivals. We have had swimming and basketball lessons, held Careers festivals and author visits.
There have been school trips to, the New Forest, SS Great Britain, Stonehenge, STEAM, the Roman Baths, Southwick Animal Park, St Katherine's church and a residential to Mill on the Brue.
Our pupils have celebrated, anti bullying week, world book day and Dyslexia week and taken part in the Big Wheel and Walk, Bikeability and Walk Safe. They have hosted 7 open classrooms, 6 assemblies, a STEM fair and led collective worship at St Katherines Church. They were interviewed by Radio 4 and performed Christmas plays.......and who can forget the visiting elves!
The best bit is we can't wait to see what next year brings.
As always, we say a fond farewell to our year 6's and their families as they head on to their next adventures and this year we are also saying goodbye to Ms Gray who is leaving us for her next new and exciting adventure too.
All the school staff and Governors would like to wish you all a wonderful summer and we look forward to welcoming you back on Thursday 3rd September 2026.
