Today marks 7 years of our wonderful teacher Jake working with us here at BMT School of Music!

Jake has technically been part of the BMT family since 2008, when he took guitar lessons himself with our founder, Sam.

At this point, he has impacted hundreds of students with his phenomenal skills and knowledge, including some of those students who have been with him for the whole of those 7 years.

Thank you so much for everything you do here, relentlessly helping people feel awesome through music and guitar playing, Jake!

We can't believe it's been a year to the day since our wonderful guitar and bass teacher Drew joined us at BMT. He's had such an incredible impact on so many students with his incredible skill and energy. Thank you so much, Drew, and keep up the good work!

The West Holts Stage at BMT School of Music Frome is looking fantastic after a revamp, ready for BMT Alina to join us to teach piano lessons in September!

A new booking system is also on its way!

Alina will start with just Wednesdays and Thursdays, and some spaces have already gone ahead of official release - please get in touch via 07775847990 and bmtschoolofmusic.com to book a trial lesson - spaces usually go within 14 days!

Just a quick reminder that from today, Monday 27th July to Friday 7th August, we'll only be running catch-up lessons that were previously rescheduled because a teacher was away.

If your teacher had to move one of your lessons to this period, your lesson will go ahead as normal.

One of our BMT students, Gift, wrote this in his school leavers’ book this year:

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

There are few greater privileges than helping a young musician discover their confidence, develop their character, and fall in love with making music. Whatever the future holds for Gift, we’re incredibly proud to have been part of the start of his musical journey. 🎶

We’ve now proudly been running our studios in Frome for two years!

Since we opened in July 2024, we’ve had 500+ people in the town come and learn to play Guitar, Drums, and Piano!

Demand keeps growing and so do we—
BMT Trowbridge has kept us busy since January this year, and we will look to expand in Frome in the future!

Many thanks to all our team at BMT Frome: Ben, Tom, Alina (who will join us in September), and our wonderful Office Manager, Ynah!

And a huge thanks to our wonderful students and families—we hope you are loving Making Music & Feeling Awesome!
