POTS - Parents and Teachers of Grove School

POTS - Parents and Teachers of Grove School POTS is an organisation of parents and staff. Its role is to encourage closer links between home, school and the local community and raise money for the school.

POTS are best known for their fundraising work, but they have a useful social function too. Fundraising events provide an opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to get together and raise money for the school. Most money is raised through events. We often hold one main event each school term – for example, a Christmas fair in the winter, a bingo in the spring, and a summer fete. Other events include raffles and discos. We are always looking for new fundraising ideas

We are looking forward to our Welcome Back Fete on Friday! We are looking for about 4 more volunteers to help on stalls. You do not need to be a regular volunteer or have a DBS for this as the children will be supervised by their parents. If you think you can help, please email [email protected] or pop into the school office. Thank you! These events can't happen without your support!

To celebrate David Attenborough's100th birthday, POTS have bought every child at Grove a wild flower heart to plant at home. We are looking forward to seeing the flowers that grow!

We will be holding a meeting, to plan our summer events, after school on Tuesday 21st April and we would love some new helpers!

If you would like to come along to see how you could get involved, just turn up at the office straight after school on the day! You're children are welcome too!
