At The Glass Hub we provide extensive glass-working facilities alongside the support of an excellent, qualified and experienced team of tutors to foster individual creative growth and expertise. The beautiful medieval Stowford Manor Farm in Wiltshire hosts the Hub whose workshops form part of a complex of farm buildings that include a spacious 17th century barn. The farm has on-site B&B, camping,

delicious cream teas and sits in a picturesque river valley a few miles from the Roman city of Bath. Whether a beginner, refresher or expert, we hope all of our students will be inspired to design and make with confidence in a creative, supportive and relaxed environment.

Course Spotlight💡:Glass Fusing Weekend
Discover the art of fusing glass and explore a variety of techniques to create your own designs in glass. On our one day glass fusing course you will learn the fundamentals of glass cutting, assembly, accessory glass, metal inclusions, and kiln firing under the expert guidance of the Glass Hub tutors. A great introduction for beginners or for artists working in other mediums who would like to experiment with this art form.

Experience: No experience with glass is required for this course.

Explore the potential of flame-worked Borosilicate glass, drawing concepts and ideas from the movement of the material itself. You will transform glass rods and tubes into components using gravity, centrifugal force, blowing and manipulation with tools and then connect your components into assembled structures.
