☀️ Bank Holiday ☀️

The August Bank Holiday is a great opportunity to relax, recharge and spend time with loved ones. For carers, however, caring responsibilities don't always stop for long weekends.

This August Bank Holiday, we'd like to take a moment to recognise and thank all the incredible carers who provide support, comfort and companionship. Your dedication makes a real difference.

From all of us, thank you for everything you do. Wishing carers, those they support, and our wider community a safe, happy and relaxing August Bank Holiday.

🌟 With Thanks 🌟

Last week, our West Team were incredibly touched to receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt thank you card from a customer's family.

This thoughtful gesture was given in recognition of the support, compassion and reassurance the team provided during a particularly difficult time. It serves as a powerful reminder of the difference our colleagues make every day, supporting customers and their loved ones when they need it most.

Our Senior Support Worker Catherine and Occupational Therapist Phillipa were thrilled to receive the gifts pictured below.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our colleagues in the Reablement Service and our dedicated team members for their ongoing commitment, care, and kindness. We are also grateful to the family for taking the time to express their appreciation. 💙

🎉 Celebrating Five Years of Wiltshire Support at Home 🎉

Yesterday, our celebrations continued as our North & West teams came together to mark an incredible milestone – five years of Wiltshire Support at Home.

We were proud to recognise those dedicated team members who have been with us since the very beginning. Their commitment, passion, and hard work were honoured with five-year service certificates as a small token of our sincere appreciation.

Of course, no celebration would be complete without recognising the wider team. Colleagues who have not yet reached the five-year milestone were also presented with certificates in recognition of their valuable contributions. Every member of our team plays an important role in the difference we make each day.

It is thanks to our loyal, compassionate, and dedicated staff that Wiltshire Support at Home has grown into the service it is today, supporting people across our community to live well and independently at home.

We were also delighted to welcome Kerry and her baby to the celebration. Kerry played a key role in helping to establish Wiltshire Support at Home and has been instrumental in its success over the years.

Here's to everything we have achieved together so far, and to many more years of making a positive difference in people's lives!
