A reminder that we are following Healthy Rainbow Snack Challenge – Week commencing 22nd June

In aid of Eat The Rainbow Week, we are inviting children to bring in a healthy snack each day that matches a different colour of the rainbow.

Monday: Red snack
Tuesday: Yellow snack
Wednesday: Orange snack
Thursday: Green snack
Friday: Purple or Blue snack
Children who bring in the coloured healthy snack and have a go at trying or eating it will earn a house point.

This is a fun way to encourage children to explore a variety of healthy foods and learn about the importance of eating a colourful, balanced diet.

It is was a lovely sunny day on Wednesday and we travelled to Erlestoke Golf club for a festival of golf. On the course, there were eight stations where we putted and chipped at goals and targets. The quality of golfing technique from all the Year 4s was excellent and in the end we finished up with over 1000 points, to win the competition! It was a fun, fast paced morning of golf and the boys performed brilliantly– well done Team Mead!
