We are looking forward to welcoming all the children back to school tomorrow at 8.30am (8.35am for Reception) and are looking forward to our Nursery children starting next Monday.

However, our new telephone system is currently not working so we are unable to receive or make any external calls. Please bear with us while we are working to get this resolved.

Spread the Sunshine! 🌈 Pride Dress Down Day this Friday, 19th June.

We have a super colourful and exciting day coming up at school! On Friday, we will be holding a Pride Dress Down Day.

Instead of their usual school uniform, the children are invited to come to school in their own clothes. We are encouraging everyone to wear their brightest colours—whether that’s a favourite neon t-shirt, a rainbow sweater, or just a splash of something cheerful!

What is this day about?

At our school, we love celebrating what makes each of our families and children unique. This day is all about kindness, inclusion, and acceptance for everyone.

There is no donation required to join in—just bring your bright colours and your biggest smiles!

Thank you so much for your continued support in making our school community such a warm, welcoming place for all.

We were so lucky with the weather last night and a change from the recent rain. Year 5 had an amazing time camping out on the school field. Smores, film and camping - maybe a few tired faces this morning but fun had by all. Thank you so much to Miss Greenhill, Mrs Hodgson, Mr Lindars and Miss Wright for running this brilliant opportunity for the children. I'm sure they will sleep well tonight!

There are still plenty of tickets left for this Friday's Rock and Roll Bingo. If you’ve never played before, it’s bingo but with music tracks instead of numbers. Should be a fun night with some of your favourite party tunes.

Tickets can be purchased on the school gateway at £10 per head.

There will be a cash bar, raffle and other games on the night. Lots of opportunity to win cash and other prizes, all while raising much needed funds for the school.

Remember this event is also open to friends and family (over 18s only).

The deadline for buying tickets is end of day Wednesday 3 June. After this time, if not enough tickets have been sold, we may have to look at postponing the event.

REMINDERS: Today is Break the Rules Day - have a look at which rule you want to break and make your payment via the School Gateway - will you wear nail varnish, have crazy hair or wear colourful socks? We can't wait to see!

Also, as it is a beautiful day and the last day of this half term we will be holding a cash lolly sale after school so don't forget to bring some money! Happy Friday everyone!

Don't forget that we are holding a Dundale Fundraising Online Balloon Race! This fun and engaging event is a fantastic opportunity for our school community to come together and support our fundraising efforts.

Key Details:

· Balloons are available to purchase now on Schoolgateway until 12 May 2026
· Race Start: 12pm on Thursday 14 May 2026
· Race End: 10.25am on Friday 22 May 2026 (live during assembly)
· Cost per Balloon: Minimum £3.50

How to Participate:

1. Purchase Your Balloon: Balloons can be purchased via School Gateway.
2. Please ensure you complete the online form to finalize your entry. Please note that online forms will not be accepted without payment, and payment alone does not complete your entry. One online form must be completed for each balloon.
3. Paypoint vouchers can be provided by the school office if you do not have access to a School Gateway account online.

You can purchase as many balloons as you like! Choose from a variety of balloons and give your balloon a nickname to make the race even more fun. You can watch the race online to see how your balloon is doing throughout the event.

Prizes:
First Prize: £30 voucher
Second Prize: £10 book token

For those who prefer, free postal entries are available via the race website. Please contact the school office for further details.
