⛏️NEW! Minecraft Academy: Block 1 – Welcome to the Overworld 🌍
Does your child love Minecraft? Or perhaps they're simply a curious creator who enjoys adventures, problem-solving and hands-on learning? Then it's time to join Minecraft Academy!

Over five weeks, we'll explore the Minecraft-inspired world through exciting cross-curricular missions that blend:
🧭 Geography
🔬 Science
📐 Maths
✍️ Creative writing
🎨 Art & Design
💡 Problem-solving and teamwork

Children will investigate biomes, design shelters, create maps, tackle survival challenges and invent their very own Minecraft-inspired world—all while developing valuable real-world skills in a fun, creative way.

No Minecraft experience is needed! Whether your child is a seasoned miner or has never picked up a pickaxe, every mission is designed so everyone can join in and succeed.
🗓️ LIVE Fridays, 12pm (recordings available if you can't make it live)
😮Just £2 per session, (£10 for the 5 week block)

Do you find that certain photographs seem to hold a whole story inside them? Not just a vibe, but a snapshot in time that takes you back to your thoughts, hopes, views on the world around you and dreams of your part to play within it 🌅✨

I came across this photo of 18-year-old me sitting on a dusty road in the Australian outback, watching the sun go down and quietly contemplating. Looking back, I think I've always loved those moments of noticing, questioning and feeling connected to something bigger.

And perhaps that's what writing is really about, too. 💛

🌍 OUR WORLD, OUR VOICE
Starting 11th June ✨

This new five-week writing block is all about helping children discover that their ideas, opinions and observations matter — and that writing can be a powerful way to share them.

Through lots of short, engaging activities and fun challenges, we'll explore ways to enjoy writing without it feeling overwhelming, while helping children build confidence and find their own voice.

Across five sessions, we'll explore:

🗞️ Sharing information in interesting ways
⭐ Giving opinions and recommendations
📋 Using headings, lists and captions to organise ideas clearly
💬 Explaining thoughts with reasons and examples
✨ Learning how writing can help our voices be heard

Expect plenty of discussion, creativity and low-pressure writing activities, with opportunities to draw, chat, jot notes and gradually build ideas in ways that feel enjoyable and manageable.

✔ Suitable for ages 7–11(not strictly)
✔ Ideal for home educating families

More than anything, I hope this block helps children discover that writing isn't about getting everything perfect.

It's about noticing.

It's about sharing.

And it's about realising that what you think and what you have to say really does matter. 🌿

After Half Term's heatwave, I wasn't expecting to be embracing cosy season quite so soon, but I'm absolutely here for it 🥰

Starting 11th June ✨

This block is all about celebrating the things that make home education so special, helping children find inspiration in the everyday and write with confidence about the people, places, interests and experiences that matter most to them.

Across five weeks, we'll explore:

📚 Favourite things and treasured routines
🌈 Memories, feelings and personal experiences
🐾 Hobbies, passions and the things that make us unique
✨ The people and places that make life meaningful
💡 Creative ways to turn ordinary moments into wonderful writing

Expect plenty of imagination, encouragement and relaxed learning, with lots of opportunities for children to develop their writing skills in a friendly, supportive environment 💛

✔ Recommended for ages 7–11 (following KS2 objectives)
✔ Ideal for home educating families
✔ A calm and encouraging approach to creative writing

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the BFG classes!!!! My daughter is so enjoying them, likes to do catch up so we can do things at her pace and you wouldn’t believe how valuable these lessons have become. You’ve made a home Ed mummy and little girl very very happy x thank you x

I'm grinning from ear to ear with such lovely feedback from one of my Home Ed group classes 😁:

'I just watched a taster session for "reluctant writers" with a beautiful lady called Laura. Just wanted to say I smiled the whole way thru! Loved listening to the kids minds/answers and lauras energy was amazing. She is exactly what I love about teachers. Really triggered something in my heart. The way she interacted with the kids (her voice/tone/enthusiasm/inclusion) was so spot on ❤ will be signing up hopefully'
