Days like today are exactly what our recent ratio changes were made for in my very humble opinion. All four of my cohort in together as one family unexpectedly needed an extra day. Many years ago it was quite the norm for me to be allowed four children so it’s not my first rodeo but I was a little younger and more spritely at the time 😂. However I need not have worried as the day went like a dream. My two youngest are now well settled so everyone just got on with things like it was a normal day 🥰

Not my usual type of purchase but I have to admit to a few boxes falling into my trolley as I was doing my shopping yesterday. I realised I’d made a rookie error as soon as I opened the biscuits. They are the absolute perfect shape and size for posting through the gap in my deck boards 🙈. Let’s see how many we have left by the end of next week 😂

When the first words out of Miss E’s mouth this morning were “Manda I want to get mucky with paint” of course that’s what we had to do 🎨. Then they found a bag of old autumn treasures in the cupboard which kept them entertained for the rest of the morning. I’m either going to have a garden full of oak trees or we will be over run with squirrels collecting the acorns 🤣

Early birthday treat for the two oldest members of our crew. Such a beautiful day full of laughter! ❤️
