We’re Hiring Class Leaders

Do you love singing, performing, and making little ones smile?
Are you warm, energetic, and confident leading a group?

Happy Hands Club is looking for enthusiastic Class Leaders to deliver our magical Music, Movement & Mindfulness sessions for babies and toddlers (0–5 years).

🌈 About the Role

🎵 As a Happy Hands Class Leader, you’ll:

💜Lead fun, engaging music and movement sessions for babies and toddlers
💜Create a warm, welcoming space for parents and carers
💜Use music, puppets, props, and bubbles to support early development
💜Set up and pack away session equipment at local venues

You’ll be the friendly face of Happy Hands in your community — building connections, supporting families, and spreading smiles every week.

⚠️ URGENT RECALL: Hobbycraft Giant Box of Craft

Hobbycraft is recalling a box of mixed craft supplies containing vials of coloured sand due to a potential health risk.

The sand may be contaminated with a small amount of asbestos, which can be harmful even at low levels of exposure.

📋 Product number: 6686021000

Full disposal instructions from Hobbycraft:

•Stop using the product immediately.

•If the sand is still in its packaging, place in a heavy-duty plastic bag, double tape it securely, label it clearly and store in a secure location out of the reach of children.

•If the sand has been used, clean up sites where the product was used using wet cloths to avoid generating dust. Wear gloves and a mask.

•Double bag the sand, gloves, mask and cloths.

•Keep children and other people away from areas where the sand has been used until the area has been cleaned.

•Return the sand vials from the product to your nearest Hobbycraft store for a full refund.

•If you are unable to get to a Hobbycraft store, please follow the instructions above and dispose of the sand in your general household waste.

•Contact Hobbycraft for a full refund.

Twinkly Stay and Play Update

Unfortunately, the funding for our Twinkly Stay and Play sessions has now come to an end, meaning we’re unable to continue the sessions in their current format for the time being.

We’d like to sincerely thank Trinity Childcare and Family Centre Ltd Aberfan and Invest Local Ynysowen for their incredible support over the past three years, providing funding that allowed all families to attend free of charge. Their support has made a real difference to our families and community 💜

We’re now exploring other funding options and would really value your feedback. If alternative funding can’t be secured, we’d like to understand whether there would be interest in Twinkly Stay and Play continuing as paid sessions.

A poll will be available shortly — your responses will help us decide what’s possible and what works best for our families.
