Very many of my friends would probably agree that the early 1980's produced some of the greatest music of the 20th century, with The Smiths songs What Difference Does it Make and This Charming Man amongst them.

Over the last couple of days, I have listened to Johnny Marr's playlist on BBC Sounds.

Highly recommended.

Johnny Marr showcases some of his favourite bands, who could only have come from the UK.

Following on from my previous post that briefly describes my day out today, here are some photos of the exterior of Rotherham Minster... :-) ;-)

Having been required to attend Rotherham General Hospital for a blood test, I made the most of a nice sunny day to buy some Polish ham and kabanos from Food Plus, take a few more photos of the interior and exterior of Rotherham Minster and eat some very tasty Asian food from the stall on Effingham Street - before catching the 'round the houses' X2 bus to Old Edlington, where I had another look at St. Peter's church.
