Meet our Amazing Inspirational Nursery staff

You're probably wondering who'll be or who is caring for your little one each day, so we want to introduce you to our fantastic staff.

Each of our team members is a key worker for a small group of children, which means they build strong relationships and provide consistent care. This helps your child feel safe, happy, and confident – and it's a big part of what makes our nursery feel like a second home 💕.

Our team works efficiently together to ensure every child gets the best possible start in life, focusing on their unique needs, interests, and development. From nappy changes to nursery rhymes, and from messy play to story time, we're here to support, care, and have FUN with your little ones!

Following snow overnight and with forecasts indicating that the snow will continue throughout the day, we have made the decision to close Pobl Bach to staff and children today (9/1/26)

😢 Bittersweet announcement 🥰

It's with a heavy heart that we share the news that one of our beloved Managers, Emma Jane, will be leaving us this Friday, after an incredible 9 years of dedication to our Nursery family. 😔

Emma Jane has been a massive part of our Pobl Bach family pouring her passion, expertise, and kindness into every aspect of our setting.

Emma Jane has made a lasting impact on all of us, and her influence will continue to shape our Nursery for years to come. 🌈

As Emma Jane embarks on this new chapter of her career we wish her the best of luck and lots of happiness that she deserves .
She's been a true leader, mentor, and friend to us all.

Emma Jane, thank you for believing in us, for supporting us, and for being an amazing role model.

The Nursery admission round opens Monday 8th September. This means; any child that will be going to Nursery next year in - January, April & September, will need to apply for their Nursery admission from then ✏️

This can only be done through the Blaenau Gwent website. We advise that you complete your application as soon as you can to ensure you are given your first choice Nursery next year ☺️

If you are thinking about applying for the 30hr childcare offer along with your Nursery admission, please ask a member of staff for more details 🌈

We offer a wrap around service from two local schools these are Georgetown and Glanhowy. These spaces can be taken very quick and we have a waiting list already for 2026 and 2027 so be quick Not to be disappointed .

Good morning everyone.
We hope you're having a wonderful 6 weeks off and are enjoying this fantastic weather we've been having.

✨️✨️Just a reminder ✨️✨️

We will return on Monday 1st September
(taster session for new starters only 1pm -2pm)
NO normal sessions on this day.

Everyone else back Tuesday 2nd September Normal sessions will resume :-
Morning session 8.45-11.15
Afternoon session 12.30-3.00

Lunch club and after school club will resume Tuesday 2nd September.

Breakfast club and Wrap around will resume Monday 8th September.

Please be mindful that messages, or emails sent during this time may not be responded to until we are back in the Nursery as staff are enjoying a well earned break.

Please Remember we offer breakfast club, afterschool club and lunch club. If you require any of these please feel free to contact a member of staff.

If you live in a Flying Start area and your child is 2, you are entitled to 2.5hrs FREE childcare per day.

Flying start has recently expanded to more areas so please check and contact below to see if you are entitled.

Our room is welcoming, free flowing, newly refurbished with endless opportunities to engage in all types of play and learning ⚽️

Did you know that working parents of children aged 3-4 are entitled to 30 FREE hours childcare.
We offer a wrap around service from local nurseries.

You child DOES NOT need to attend our Nursery to have access to our holiday or after school club .
