Ormiston Primary School Parent Council Welcome to our Parent Council page. We will use this to communicate with parents on relevant information and updates.

Our Parent Council is made up of a group of parents and other community members who regularly meet with the Headteacher and staff of the school to discuss how to improve the school for our children. The role of the Parent Council is to represent the views of parents & carers to the school, local authority, and education authority. We also organise fundraising events for school funds so any ideas are welcome! Ormiston Primary School Parent Council, registered charity number: SC045403

🌟 Can you help our Parent Council? 🌟

Ormiston Primary Parent Council is a registered charity and is seeking an accountant to sign off on their account for the year ending 31st Oct 2026.

If you are, or you know, an accountant who would be generous enough to do this for us, please get in touch!

Our treasurer keeps a full workings spreadsheet to make the job as straightforward as possible.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the picnic last Thursday!

We hope you had a great time in the sunshine with the bubbles and ice cream!

After taking off costs, we raised £75.49 towards next year’s P7 camp. A big thank you to the Primary 6 helpers!

We have bubble wands left and will have these available to buy at the bake sale after school on Friday 19th June.

Thank you for all of the amazing donations for our sponsored colour run!

The children raised an amazing £3347.87 for the school.
