I am so excited as I’ve just applied for the Discord link - I have leave the Steotchalong 8 server!

Who else is excited? 

Steotchalong 9 is picking up steam, but not on Facebook. We've got about 1,400 in the official Discord picking out palettes, forming teams, and talking s**t.

🎨✨ I’ve found a new ATC Swap Group! ✨🎨

Because apparently I didn’t already have enough crafty projects on the go… 😂 I’ve discovered a new Artist Trading Card (ATC) swap group on Facebook and, of course, I had to join!

Even better, it’s UK members only, which is absolutely fantastic — and MUCH kinder to my poor pocket when it comes to postage! 🇬🇧📮💷

I may have got a little carried away already because I’ve signed myself up for TWO swaps… 😬

🎨 One swap involves 3 ATCs
✂️ The other involves 6 ATCs

So that’s NINE cards that I need to create! 😱

I’m definitely feeling a little nervous about getting them all finished in time, especially as I’m getting back into ATC swapping, but I’m also determined! 💪🏻

The challenge is officially ON: get all nine ATCs designed, created, finished and posted off to wherever they need to go! 📮💌

Wish me luck… I think I might need it! 😂

🧵🪡 Well… I completely missed World Cross Stitch Day yesterday! 🤦‍♀️😂

I mean, technically I did celebrate it because I actually managed to get some stitching done on my Temu printed cross stitch kit… I just completely missed the fact that it was World Cross Stitch Day! 😂

Unfortunately, my stitching also had a little unexpected adventure of its own… 💦😬

My water bottle decided to LEAK inside my bag, meaning my poor cross stitch got a little bit wet! Thankfully, it seems to have survived its unexpected bath. 😂🪡

The water bottle, however?

🗑️ Straight in the bin.

That’ll teach me for buying a cheap water bottle! 🤦‍♀️😂

So my slightly belated World Cross Stitch Day involved stitching, a soggy project and the retirement of one very unreliable water bottle.

Could have been worse… at least it wasn’t coffee! 😂☕🚫

Every month is a new start; not just an excuse but literally! I love being a part of the Stitchee Collective as I love the community we have!

And, of course, Amanda and her cute SALs…

Hello, August! 🌻📺✨

A brand-new month means brand-new shows to binge, and I’ve just updated my MCU watchlist… so my “to watch” list has somehow become even longer! 🍿😂

July was an incredible whirlwind, but I’m excited to see what August has in store. Between TV marathons and plenty of stitching time, I’ve set myself a challenge…

July Update!

Well, July has been a particularly busy month. This is why I only set myself a goal of 2000 stitches; which I just met.

Not as many boxes crossed off but I’m happy overall!

Stitching at Guide/Girl Scout Camp!

I’m currently away with a local unit, as their cook. Of course, I brought my stitching…

This is “Space”, a printed kit from an Asian based website. It only costed me £3.50, so I thought I would give it a try. It’s 11 Count Aida.

I did some while I was away in Boise at SFR; let’s see how much I can do before the kids get back!!

A little stitching adventure on the way home! 🧵🇺🇸

After an incredible week in Boise, Idaho at Scentsy Family Reunion, I had a layover in Los Angeles before flying back to the UK.

Naturally, I searched for “needlepoint and cross stitch stores” and found that Aristeia Needlepoint was the closest. I’d made myself a list before travelling, and I’m very proud to say… I stuck to it! 😂

A huge thank you to all the lovely ladies at Aristeia Needlepoint for such a warm welcome. It was wonderful to visit and add another fantastic needlework shop to my stitching memories.

I also took some stitching with me on my travels, and I’ll be sharing what I managed to work on during the trip very soon. 👀🪡
