My has been on a bit of an adventure this weekend! 🧵✨

I’ve taken my stitching to TWO places that, in my opinion, are some of the raddest places in the world. 😍

💒 Saturday — my friend’s wedding!
🎬 Today — the National Film & Sci-Fi Museum!

Please note: I did NOT actually sit there stitching during the wedding or while I was working at the museum! 😂 The WIP was simply along for the adventure.

I absolutely love that stitching is something I can pop in my bag and take with me wherever I go.

Now the big question is… where will the Steotchalong end up next? 👀

September’s Stitch Challenge is officially done! 🧵✨

I may not have smashed every single challenge, but I’m really pleased with what I managed to achieve — especially considering how much else I’ve had going on this month!

🪡 4,000+ stitches completed
🎯 19 points earned overall
💛 Plenty of Stitcho Board squares ticked off
✂️ Lots of stitching, sharing, goal-setting and even a little backstitching along the way!

I love challenges like this because they give me that extra little push to pick up my stitching, even if it’s only for a short session. And, as always, there were definitely a few “oops” moments too… apparently needing to buy supplies absolutely counts as part of the hobby. 😂

Now it’s time to turn the page and see what October’s challenge has in store for me! 👀🧵

As part of this year’s , my team — EuroDiversiTea — decided to stitch tea bag scissor fobs showing where we’re from. ☕🧵✂️

Instead of choosing my birthplace, I decided to represent where I live now… and there was only one thing that could possibly feature.

🐄 Concrete cows, of course! 😂

A little bit of Milton Keynes stitched into my EuroDiversiTea piece, and I absolutely love how it turned out.

🍂 HELLO OCTOBER! 🍂

New month, fresh plans… and quite a long to-do list! 😂

October is going to be a month of trying to get myself a little more organised, a little more focused and, most importantly, actually working on the things I keep saying I’m going to work on! 🧵📚

My plans for this month are:

📚 Add LOTS to my Vinted account and try to sell as many of my books as possible. My shelves need some serious breathing room!

💜 Work my Scentsy business a little harder and give it the attention it deserves.

🧵 STITCH. STITCH. STITCH. I really want to spend as much time as possible actually working on my existing pieces.

And that means… no ATCs for me this month! 😱 I absolutely love making them, but I’ve realised they’ve become a very convenient little procrastination system so I don’t have to work on my bigger WIPs! 😂

☕ Catch up with Steotchalong because I’m currently TWO WEEKS behind. Oops.

🧶 Finally organise my threads and get them bobbinated properly. This has been on the list for far too long!

📦 Work out where on earth my Pip & Chip order from September has disappeared to… 👀

📖 And, somewhere amongst all of that, READ AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!

So October is officially my month of stitching, sorting, reading, decluttering and attempting not to create another distraction project every five minutes. 😂

Let’s see how much I can actually achieve before November arrives!

🧵✨ I’m a little behind with … but I’m getting there!

This is Pattern 2… and Pattern 4 was dropped over the weekend! 😅

In my defence, I’ve been busy working on our Team Challenge pieces for EuroDiversiTea, so my stitching time has definitely been divided!

I’m really enjoying seeing this piece slowly come together though, and I’m trying not to worry about keeping up — just enjoying the stitches as they happen. 💜

Anyone else playing catch-up, or are you all already waiting patiently for the next pattern? 👀🪡

Well, that’s my October Monthly ATC Swap finished! 🎮🧵✨

This month’s theme was “Video Games”, so I had lots of fun turning some classic gaming favourites into tiny stitched pieces — including a few that might bring back some serious retro gaming memories! 👾🍄🎮

Six ATCs stitched, mounted and ready to head off to their new homes. I love how different they all look while still working together as a little set.

And we’re officially underway! Pattern 1 of Steotchalong 9 is DONE! 🙌🏻

I’m still not 100% convinced by my colour palette though… 👀 I feel like two of my colours might be just a little too close to each other.

Am I going to regret it?
Will it all magically come together?
Am I already overthinking it after Pattern 1? 😂

Probably.

But I’m sticking with it for now and trusting the process. After all, part of the fun of a mystery stitchalong is having absolutely NO IDEA where this is going! 🪡

📮✨ OFF TO THEIR NEW HOME! ✨📮

These three little ATCs were popped into the post today and are officially on their way to their new home! 💌

There’s always something quite satisfying about finishing an ATC, getting it packaged up and knowing that soon it’ll be landing through someone else’s letterbox. 🥰

I really enjoyed creating these three, and now I just have to hope they have a safe journey and that their new owner loves them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Another swap complete… which obviously means it’s time to start thinking about the next ones! 😂🪡✂️
