You may have noticed it’s gone very quiet over here since results day — and there’s a good reason for that.

While I should have been shouting from the rooftops about our students’ GCSE results, I was actually up to my elbows in icing, seating plans and one very well kept secret.

Guests were invited to my 50th birthday garden party. What they didn’t know was that they were also coming to my wedding. On Sunday, in front of everyone I love, I got engaged and then married and somehow, not one person in the know spilled the beans.

So, normal service resumes this week. The results deserve a post of their own, and they are absolutely worth the wait. I’ll be sharing them properly in the next few days, because this year’s cohort did something special.

GCSE Results Day 💚

Today’s the day and we could not be prouder of every single one of our students.

Whatever’s on that piece of paper, we’ve seen the work behind it: the late nights, the past papers, the sessions where something finally clicked, the days you turned up even when it felt impossible. That’s the bit that actually counts.

We hope today opens the door to whatever comes next — sixth form, college, an apprenticeship, or a path you haven’t discovered yet. And if things didn’t go the way you’d planned, please know there is always a route forward. Always.

Your results are a snapshot of one moment. They are not a measure of your intelligence, your worth, or what you’re capable of becoming.

Go and celebrate. You’ve earned it. 🎉

We are SO proud today! 🎓

Two of our Tutor Bunker students have been named in the paper for their A Level results — and both are off to do brilliant things.

👏 Dylan is heading to UEA to study English Literature and History, after working with our English tutor Weston. Watching his confidence grow session by session has been an absolute joy.

👏 Jovin was one of our GCSE maths students — and he's now off to study Chemical Engineering. From GCSE maths to a degree built on it is quite the journey, and he's more than earned his place.

Results day is the end of a very long road — the early mornings, the past papers, the wobbles at 11pm the night before an exam. These grades belong to Dylan and Jovin and to the families who kept them going.

Congratulations both. Go and enjoy every second of it. 💙
