CMA: Asda, Asos and Boohoo pledge 'accurate and clear' green claims The CMA launched an investigation into potential greenwashing at the firms in 2022, claiming it was concerned some clothes in the companies' ranges did in fact not meet green criteria.

Currently, World Leaders are negotiating the United Nations Global Plastic Treaty. This treaty is the first of it kind to prevent the harmful impact of single-use plastic.

Greenpeace UK and Everyday Plastic are collaborating with The Big Plastic Count. This week-long event is in aid of gathering evidence on how much single-use plastic we use. The hope is that with this evidence, pressure can be put on organisations and governments to force alternatives to plastic onto the market.
