It’s a bitter sweet time at the SS house this month as we prepare for lots of extra fun with our School Leavers Party celebrations and begin say a fond farewell to the big children who are heading off onto the next part of their journey soon.
This week we received this very special
picture update of some of our previous School Leavers who have just returned from their annual camping trip accompanied with the following caption from their parents:

🤍‘If you ever need an advert for Stepping Stones, we thought you might like to see this. 9 years worth of Stepping Stones children, 5 families and 2 years since the boy gang left nursery. The name lives on and the boys absolutely love all other boys in the gang.
So, thank you for the part you played in bringing our crazy group of Boy Gang Mums, Dads and Siblings together’🤍

What lovely words to share and a sense of community built through Stepping Stones. This is such a wonderful reminder that as our nursery children and their families approach the new chapters and exciting adventures ahead they will forever be part of our Stepping Stones family with memories made and bonds built to last a lifetime💛

Our curious Baby Room children embraced cookery club this week, helping our lovely Chef Angie to create some yummy cheese scones.
The babies immersed themselves in the multi-sensory experience of exploring all of the different ingredients and textures as they worked together to measure, mix, pour and roll through the process of making and moulding their dough.
The children each took their freshly baked goods home to celebrate their latest baking experience and the delicious finished products with their families.
What a wonderful invitation to learning that supports physical and cognitive growth as well as building those essential life skills.

🤍 Father's day breakfast! 🤍

We had a wonderful start to our Friday with Dads, Grandads, Uncles and carers joining us for a delicious breakfast. Then spending time making memories with their children, joining in activities and having fun together. Thank you everyone who joined us and thank you to all the males who support our amazing little people.
