I absolutely loved the contact naps!
And as I grew in confidence and listened to my maternal instinct, it just felt so much better to let my babies sleep on or next to me!
There’s so much pressure put on mums and it makes me sad! We are told we are crating bad habits if we allow this! We are expected to bounce back into shape and carry on with careers that we had BEFORE we became mums!
It’s rubbish! It’s wrong!!

During Infant Mental Health Week, it’s a reminder that some of the most important things we do as parents don’t look productive at all.
Sometimes supporting our baby’s emotional wellbeing looks like sitting still, slowing down, and letting them sleep peacefully in our arms or on our chest!
The to-do list will still be there later.
