We are on the hunt for a landscape gardener or general builder - we need someone who can help us to plan the space for children’s play and access to growing spaces . The work will involve some heavy digging and levelling of ground, removal of rubble and the building of raised beds , possible turf laying and some timber work to include potential fencing .

Rainbow Nursery, Totnes is looking for a friendly, organised and practical person to join our team as a Nursery Housekeeper.

📍 Location: Rainbow Nursery, The Mansion, Fore St, Totnes
⏰ Hours: 10 hours per week (Monday–Friday 3pm - 5pm)
🕒 Can be flexible with hours for the right candidate (between 8am and 5pm)
💷 Pay: Minimum Wage (age dependent)
📅 Start Date: As soon as possible

Do you love creating order from chaos, keeping things clean and organised, and don't mind working around curious young children? This could be the perfect role for you!

Duties include:
✨ Organising toys and equipment
✨ Cleaning and tidying throughout the nursery
✨ Laundry tasks
✨ Managing cleaning supplies
✨ Supporting a safe, welcoming environment for children and staff

Previous cleaning, housekeeping, stores management or similar experience is helpful, but not essential.

We're a friendly local charity providing high-quality childcare for children under 5, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in a clean, organised environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
