What a start it’s been for the Prep 3/4 children at OA Surf Club!

After arriving and taking in the stunning surroundings over a light picnic lunch, the team were soon ready for action—wetsuits on, boards in hand, and eyes firmly on the waves. With the sun shining and conditions absolutely spot on, the youngsters wasted no time making the most of a perfect afternoon in the sea.

There were smiles everywhere as the children rode the waves, shared plenty of laughs, and soaked up every moment of the action. The energy and enthusiasm on display would have impressed even the toughest pundits!

With the final whistle approaching, there was just enough time for a classic Baywatch-style group pose before everyone gathered to debrief on the day's highlights, swapping stories and celebrating a fantastic opening day together.

And the action isn't over yet...

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the ultimate Prep 5/6 adventure showdown — where nerves of steel meet daring determination!

First up, the rifle range — steady hands, laser focus, and the kind of concentration that would make Olympic champions proud. Every shot counts as our young marksmen and markswomen step up under pressure, aiming for glory with pinpoint precision!

Then it’s onto the fencing piste, where lightning-fast reflexes and tactical brilliance take centre stage. En garde! Swords clash, feet dance, and every duel becomes a battle of wit, courage, and razor-sharp timing.

But wait — the action is only just heating up! High above the ground, the abseiling wall looms large. Hearts race as fearless pupils lean back over the edge, trusting their training and conquering gravity one bold step at a time.

And finally, the ultimate test of courage: vertical heights! Hanging high above the challenge zone, these young adventurers dig deep, battling nerves, testing balance, and showing the kind of bravery that can’t be taught — only discovered.

This isn’t just PGL Residential week week… this is Prep 5/6 pushing limits, smashing fears, and proving that champions come in all forms. What a performance from these rising stars!”

Our incredible Reception children became the heroes of the day when they stepped up with their fantastic picnic-making skills! From carefully preparing sandwiches and chopping fresh fruit and vegetables, to beautifully arranging all the delicious treats, they created a picnic table that looked absolutely mouth-watering!

But the magic didn’t stop there — our amazing superstars also rolled up their sleeves to tidy away and help clean their spaces, showing wonderful teamwork and responsibility every step of the way. What a brilliant group of caring, capable, and talented children we have!
