A special place on Kingsbridge high street designed with the comfort and requirements of parents and babies in mind 🩷

We've all been there...
... dealing with a grizzly, hungry baby, but not wanting to take them into a café for fear of disturbing other people's lunch...
... needing to grab some shopping, but a poonami whilst in the baby carrier needs immediate attention...
... experiencing challenges with breastfeeding and/or bottlefeeding and needing some help with it all...
... just wanting to get the heck out of the house for a change of scenery and some adult convo (plus a hot cuppa of course!).

We get it!

Those few scenarios are among the many reasons why we're taking the (slightly terrifying) leap of taking on our own premises on Fore Street... so we can be there for local parents in all the little moments when a comfy, relaxed, extra-child friendly place to visit is needed.

But ours will ALSO have a variety of useful resources and baby equipment to hire, good quality pre-loved maternity & baby/toddler clothing for sale, a variety of mum/baby gifts and goodies available to browse... along with baby & toddler groups and classes galore, peer support groups & 1:1 support from specialist practitioners too 🙌🏻

Your one-stop-shop for all things pregnancy, postpartum & parenthood 💕

We're crowdfunding to help us get all this off the ground and we need your help!

It’s been so lovely not thinking everyday ‘ what am I going to post in my socials today?!’

I hardly looked at my phone - I had no signal at all where we were staying for 7 days & it was bliss! I even started reading a book for the first time in 7 years since having Ez 🫣 ( ok so I didn’t get far - but it’s a start!)

I lost my phone multiple times because I wasn’t doing my usual work on it, I wouldn’t use it for the whole day sometimes.

I felt more present, I watched my children play more and it was really beautiful ( they definitely argued a lot less being outside so much).

So I’m sorry I haven’t been very present on here but I promise instead I’ve been extra present for my family and for this Summer holiday that is going to be my priority ❤️

Please don’t give up on me & stick around for when things resume as normal ( probably near the end of August when I panic that no one is going to book on my classes as my social media presence has been none existent 😬🤪)

I’m really hoping that I can prove to myself that the social media side isn’t the be all and end all of making a business successful…That a good reputation and word of mouth will always win 🤞🏻

👨‍🎓 🎉So proud of my boy!

Gaining his 2.1 degree in Engineering at 42 years old! ( missed a 1st by just 0.5% 😮)

There is no way I could go back into academia now - I look back and don’t know how I did it my brain was definitely different before I had our two children 🤪 Maybe there was more space for learning, for knowledge, now my brain is full of lots of other things- but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I am very proud of Johnathan though- to be disciplined enough to do a degree along side working and being a super Daddy at the same time! Well done my love ❤️ Setting a great example to our children - masters next?! 🤪

One of my mummy’s messaged to book her second TinyTalk Devon class this week… even though it was the exact same class! 🥹

When I asked why, she simply said…

“For the vibes… and to get me out of the house!” 🫶✨

Honestly, I couldn’t ask for a better compliment.

TinyTalk Devon is so much more than baby signing. It’s a chance to get out of the house, meet other local mums, make memories with your little one, and enjoy a warm, welcoming space where everyone feels at home.

The signing is amazing… but it’s the friendships, laughter and community that keep families coming back. 💜
