Time for a bright and cherry visual of potters at the studio. Abbey’s birthday gift to Dani brought them together to have some fun making pots.

Two very busy young people, Dani plays for Torquay United (wow!)and for Abbey it’s all about running. So pleased they could make time to slow down the pace for a couple of hours to get creative.

Glazes made with my original ‘Almond White’ recipe and a recipe for ‘Porcelain Turquoise’ originally presented to me at Studio 45 Dartington.

Mel Chambers is an artist and maker based near the Helford River in Cornwall, where land, sea, and shifting light quietly influence her creative life.

As the founder of Alchemy Tiles, she is known for reviving and evolving the ancient craft of hand-carved encaustic tiles, a technique rooted in the 13th century and rarely practised in this way today.

Pairs of potters on the wheels this Saturday morning. A gentle breeze and shutters up to allow for cool throwing. Great progress made all round - well done chaps!

You can book a 2 hr experiences at the studio mostly on Saturdays and Friday evenings. Link in Bio.

Lovely pairs of people this morning making lovely things in the cool shelter of the studio. A nice breeze courtesy of the River Dart much welcomed this morning.

Clay and a Cuppa and experience links in profile. Mostly on Saturdays and some Friday evenings but work around your tometables taking bookings for groups, families and any combo of people.
