π¨π Creativity Through Journaling! ππ¨
Our Drawing Workshop Club has been busy working on an exciting new journaling project, giving students the opportunity to develop their creativity and artistic skills in a personal and expressive way.
Each week, students are given a new theme to explore and add to their journals. They can choose how to interpret and represent that theme, using any artistic medium they wish, from drawing and painting to collage and mixed media.
The project encourages creativity, experimentation and self-expression, with every journal becoming a unique reflection of its creator's ideas and artistic style.
We can't wait to see how these journals continue to develop over the coming weeks! β¨π

ππ¨ Shoal Goals! π¨π
Miss Carsonβs Year 7 group are diving into the sculptural side of their Creatures & Cultures project, exploring form, structure and creativity in their developing Koi Carp outcomes.
Students have begun constructing the armatures that will form the foundations of their sculptures. These early structures are an important first step, allowing them to shape and build dynamic 3D forms ready for decoration.
Over the coming lessons, these armatures will be transformed with vibrant patterns, textures and colour, before being prepared for display.
A fantastic start to what promises to be a striking collection of artwork from these exciting young artists - watch this space for more creative updates! ππ¨
