Babbacombe Bay Bloomers

Babbacombe Bay Bloomers We are a small group of happy volunteers who look after several public open spaces and gardens. The group was started as stmarychurch.dag in 1998.

We reformed under the banner of Babbacombe Bay in Bloom,working as Babbacombe Bay Bloomers. A small group of happy volunteers including amateur and semi-professional gardeners and a bee keeper or two. We look after several public open spaces and gardens including:

St Marychurch Precinct. Abbey School corner. The Millennium Copse (alongside the by-pass)
The Rose Garden (on the corner of Babbacombe and Babbacombe Downs Roads)
and Babbacombe Downs Buglife flower bed. We have been awarded a Gold from Britain in Bloom South West in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

2023 also gave us the Sargent Cup. A great achievement. Why not join us, it is very rewarding.
