At Williams Driving School we have a short-term contract.
The Francise price is based on our block rate for hourly lesson cost (as of December 2025) which is £42 per hour over 48 weeks, and divided that by 12 months.
The franchise will only go up as our hourly rates are increased.
Pupils
We try to limit your downtime by supplying pupils in a given Postcode or Town.
You can run your own diary and inform the WDS admin your available times (daytime, Evenings or Weekends) are where you require pupils.

Jonathan Green who lives in Teignmouth was trained by the Williams Driving School instructor training team, passing his final exams in 2025.
Jonathan will be teaching Automatic in the Teignmouth & Dawlish area.
Outside of instructing Jonathan is a Local
On-Call-Firefighter at the Teignmouth station.

When choosing a driving school for my lessons, the main criteria was a kind instructor who would build my confidence, and wouldn't put pressure on me. Also Good reviews and good comments on Instructor were very important.

I learnt so much easier than expected and so much quicker!

Simon was amazing! I never understood driving before when I was with a previous school and I had had 40+ hours, so when I moved to Simon I had high hopes that I could learn: within the first lesson I had with Simon

I’d learnt more in that one class, than I had in those 40 hours with a previous instructor and I knew I could actually do this!

I honestly think Simon is the best Instructor there is! He has a calm teaching method but also fills you with confidence and makes it feel like driving is possible! He’s also great to have a laugh with yet gets the job done all in one!
