๐ Happy World Book Day from The Maples! ๐
Year 3 have had a fantastic day celebrating our love of reading. We shared our favourite stories, explored new books, and enjoyed diving into magical worlds together.๐โค๏ธ

The Rowans are celebrating in costumes and pyjamas! Weโve loved sharing our favourite books with each other and listening to author David McKee read one of his best-known stories, 'Elmer'. ๐

Today, the Year 5 children created their final portrait pieces based on the work of the artist Frida Kahlo. They had to consider an animal to show their personality and which colour would be used to represent different emotions. The final pieces were beautiful.

This week, the children created their final art pieces inspired by the beautiful work of Becky Bettesworth. Their creativity, focus, and attention to detail have truly shone through โ every piece is absolutely stunning!
They have done a fantastic job and should feel incredibly proud of what theyโve achieved. ๐
