Dear Nanny,
We are living in Munich-Harlaching. We have three young children living with us: a 1 year old, a 7 year old and a 9 year old. We also have two older daughters, who are with us every second weekend aged 16 and 19 years old.
We live in a large 7-bedroom house with a fitness room, a sauna room, and other ancilliary rooms. There is a large garden in Harlaching - a nice residential area of Munich near the Isar river. A tram leaves 200 meters from our house every 10 minutes and brings you to downtown Munich in about 15-20 minutes. Shopping, etc. is also available in the vicinity of the house. You would have your own room including your own bathroom. A possibility is although are own room in a student flat or small flat in the near, but we think that this is something we would search with you.
During some vacations or rarely for a long weekend, we fly to a lot of Places in the world and our home in the south of France (near Cannes). For the ski season we also rent a house in the Alpes (about 1.5 hours drive).
Mother is a fashion as well as an interior designer. She has also worked as a fashion expert on TV. She is half German and half Kenyan and does not intend to work again for the coming two years.
The father is an entrepreneur and invests into medium sized companies in German speaking countries as well as in East Africa. He has spent five years in the United States (including time at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and Stanford University). Due to his work, he is travelling frequently.
We employ a housekeeper, who comes every weekday for about 6 hours. Hence, all household members (including parents, children and nanny) only have to do light household tasks like filling the dishwasher, etc.. We currently also have two female students, who help the children with their studies as well as help babysitting from time to time. In household your job would be to take care of the children stuff which is "flying around" every day , we would be happy if u do it with the children.
We would like to offer our Nanny the possibility to live with a German family while still being able to have sufficient private time and space. We are looking for somebody, who enjoys being around children, who has a big heart and a lovely way to communicate but who is still strict and makes the children adhere to rules.
Depending on our discussions, we would expect you to help us no more than 40 hours per week and 8 hours per day. You would have significant times off, where you can take language classes and/or do other things. We also would expect you to have two full days off during each week. Your salary depends on your experience and we are very open to bargain a fair salary.
You are invited to join us for family activities including week-end family trips (e.g. skiing) but of course also realize, that you will want to explore Munich and the area without us. You are also welcome to join us on family vacations. We would discuss this with you, such that you can plan early.
The nanny’s responsibilities are only with the 3 youngest children. Some of the specific tasks you would probably be responsible for:
Prepare breakfast
Bring children to school by car or bike.
Pick children up from school by car or bike.
Prepare lunch
Ensure, that children are doing or have done their homework (partly done by student).
Enjoy free time with the children (including playing, baking, drawing, handcrafting, going to the zoo bike tour, walking, swimming,,…)
Bring children to their hobbies (horse back riding, ballet, tennis, etc.)
Prepare light dinner for children.
Prepare children to go to bed.
Sometimes we would need help in the evening for babysitting. We would give you early warnings on these occasions.
Very important is a big flexibility! For example: from december until march we go to our house in kitzbühel (a huge house with pool and every comfort) at weekends and we will need your help over the day with our youngest while we are skiing or sometimes Babysitter when we have dinner! We although love to travel, sometimes without children, so there might be some weekends where we need your full help with the three young ones/ and the housekeeping lady (which is like a grandma to the kids) will although be there!
This is why we surch a nanny.
The mother and the nanny will discuss the split in responsibilities for the daily routines at the beginning and then discuss once a week (or whenever appropriate) possible changes.

Dear Au Pair
We are a family of three living in Montreux, French part of Switzerland. We are looking for an Au Pair to help us take care of our 9 year old son Raphaël as both my partner and I are working full time.
We are a multi-cultural family and are looking for an open minded, positive and happy Au Pair that likes to discover the world around her/him and learn another language through interactions with our son, with us and with our surroundings.
Me (Mum) am Swiss German and I speak fluently German, French and English. Joël (Dad) is French and speaks French and some English. At home we speak French and German and Raphaël speaks French and German as well as a bit English.
I work full time as a Director of Operations in a 5* Hotel in Montreux. Joël works as a waiter/barman in Montreux as well.
We would like for our Au pair to take care of Raphaël while we are at work, help and supervise his homework, cook lunch for him, play with him and accompany him to some of his activities. Raphaël is a very active child, he has a lot of energy. He loves to play outside with his friends but also loves to play with his Lego. He goes to gymnastics, to karate and plays basketball.
While Raphaël is in school, we would like that our Au Pair helps us a bit with the house work. We don’t ask for a lot, just a bit of help as we all live together in the house.
We live in a nice house with a big garden in a small village outside of Montreux. We offer a room with a private bathroom to our Au Pair.

NON CHILDCARE LOVELY AUPAIR POSITION-A semi retired couple living in Hemel Hampstead in Hertfordshire-just 20 minutes by train from Kings Cross station in London-seek an au pair to assist them with dog walking and light housework. She works part time as an art dealer and he is an engineer also working part time. They live in a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom detached Grade 2 listed house with garden just 8 minutes walk from the bus stop. The train station is 5 minutes on the bus. The au pair will have their own bedroom with private bathroom. They will also have two days off per week. A driver would be useful and the au pair will sometimes have use of a car if they can drive. Pocket money is £100 plus per week for 25 hours per week. All nationalities as well as both male and female applicants will be considered. The family wish to find an au pair who is friendly, responsible and dependable. Start now for at least 6 months.

We have two children, Skye age 10 & Oliver age 8. After school they enjoy many clubs including swimming & kickboxing. Skye loves to sing, enjoys cooking & making arts & crafts. Oliver enjoys playing games & has a great sense of fun.

We are looking for an au pair to help care for our 3 lovely children in South London for 6-9 months. Our children are aged 6 months, 3 years and 8 years old. We live in a large spacious house in South London walking distance from restaurants, cares, shops and the tube. We have had 3 previous au pairs who have really enjoyed living with us and are availabel if you would like more information. The hours would be 35 a week with 2 nights unpaid babysitting. The hours are roughly 7am - 9.30am (to help with breakfast, tidying and school drop offs) FREE, 3pm - 7.30pm (to help with school pick up, clubs, tea, bath and bedtime.) Weekends are free.

Let me start by telling you a little bit about ourselves. My name is Hélène, I am 41 years old, my husband Grégory is 43 and we have a young daughter called Céleste who is 13 years old, and two sons called Edgar 10 years old and César who is 7 years old.
Both Greg and I are working in the finance industry (he is an analyst; I am a financial controller) and our workplace are both situated in Paris (c. 1 hour commute).
We leave in Cires-les-Mello a village near Chantilly (Chantilly is located north of Paris and is a very nice town with a strong culture related to horses as well as a beautiful castle from the 17th century).

It’s a 4 bedrooms house, with a garden.
There is a small self-contained house at the back of the garden with a bathroom and a kitchen for you. There is also the possibility to stay inside the house with us.
About US
I was born in Toulouse (South of France) and most of my family leave in the South of France: NICE, TOULOUSE, BORDEAUX. I have 2 older brothers who are married and have children.
Greg is from LILLE (North of France) where his parents and brothers leave. (One older brother, 2 younger ones).
We have 4 nieces and 4 nephews.
We both speak English; we have worked in London for a number of years and we have been back in Paris since Feb. 2003.
We are looking for an au pair to help us in our everyday tasks, especially in the mornings and in the afternoon/ evenings to help look after Céleste, Edgar and César.
They are all going to school five days a week
But are not working on Wednesday afternoon!
Edgar and césar are doing Rugby .
César is doing Judo and Choir
Céleste is doing zumba and piano
And all 3 of them are doing poney during week end.
When we have spare time we also like with Greg to do horseriding.
I will try not to work most of the Wednesday to take care of the kids, but will need the aupair to be available also on that day.
