Home from Home Childminding Torquay A local Childminder with limited spaces available for children aged 3 months to 5 years, extended hours and overnight care available by request.

My name is Sarah Gehringer, I am a qualified N.N.E.B Nursery Nurse, with over 30 years of experience looking after children. As part of my Ofsted registration, I attended an Access to Childminding Course, run by Torbay Early Years. Throughout my career I have undertaken a variety of training, and hold current Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene certificates. I aim to provide a ‘Home from home environment’ that is safe and welcoming; where children will be happy and thrive. I work to low ratios and therefore have limited spaces, I aim to care for no more than 3 children at any one time (including my son who is in full time education), typically caring for 1 or 2 children daily. I work to the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS), and adhere to all the legal requirements within it. All relevant checks, paperwork and insurances are in place for your peace of mind, and available for you to view at anytime. I'm able to accept 2 Year old and 3 & 4 Year old funding. I am also signed up to the Governments Tax-free Childcare service.
