RIP Devon: Research and Investigation of the Paranormal

Little Nadine Earles Tombstone.
Nadine Earles was diagnosed with diphtheria in November 1933, and her health quickly deteriorated when she contracted pneumonia a few weeks later. Nadine’s parents, Julian Comer and Alma Earles, gave her a doll and a tea set as early Christmas presents, but Nadine was not satisfied with those, what she really wanted was a playhouse, a project her father had started to build and planned to give her at Christmas. When her Father told her he would complete it when she got better, she simply replied with four words................“Me want it now.”
But her Father never had time to complete the project, as little Nadine sadly passed away on December 18th 1933, aged just 4, and she never got to play in the playhouse she so longed for, but Nadine’s parents were however determined to complete it for her nonetheless.
Her Father never forgot his little girls response of "Me Want It Now" to being told he would finish her playhouse when she was better, and he had her words inscribed on the tombstone inside the playhouse, which reads ....“Our Darling Little Girl, Sweetest In The World, April 3rd 1929 - December 18th 1933, Little Nadine Earles, In Heaven We Hope To Meet. ‘Me Want It Now.’”
After her death, the partially finished playhouse was transferred to Oakwood cemetery in Lanett, Alabama, and Nadine’s parents hired a contractor to complete it for them, and in the spring of 1934, little Nadine finally had the playhouse that she had always dreamed of. Complete with awnings on its windows, a chimney and a small front porch, the house was the site of Little Nadine’s post death birthday party in 1934. Inside, a photo of that celebration sits on the mantle, alongside the doll and china tea set her parents gave her as a pre-Christmas gift in 1933. There's also a dolls buggy, the little girl's tricycle and throughout the years the littles girls parents continued to bring presents for Nadine, bringing her whatever toys were popular at the time. After their deaths, Nadine's parents were buried in the "yard" of the little house.
