First time I’ve found a Snipe nest on the moor, beautiful, semi-spherical, nestled in the grass. Hopefully was used earlier in the year - we had 3/4 Snipe fly up in front of us in the space of an hour.
Not perfect, but pleasing (not referring to the dodgy wall surface!!)

Smiling through the foggy rain on Day 2 of Lowland Leader training with this lovely bunch, working as Course Director for
Day 1 gave us some sunshine, but whatever the weather there was lots of quality chat, ideas and learning. Off into consolidation for these four, hope to see you for assessment in the future!

After trudging slightly begrudgingly up Yr Wyddfa with and me at mum-pace, then went off for a five day mountain skills Gold DofE Residential with . He returned with even more ideas, maps, stats and enthusiasm for the possibilities… my work may nearly be done!
