Thank you everyone for your patience and support over the last two days.
We are aware it may well have been difficult to make alternative arrangements at such short notice.
We will be opening the nursery as normal tomorrow morning.
If there are any changes to the weather alerts we will let you know as soon as possible.

Keep safe everyone 🌞

Dear parents/Carers

Thank you for your co-operation today

Tomorrow Thursday 25th we will open as normal and close by 2pm.
This is because of the continued red weather alert and we know we cannot keep our rooms cool enough once temperatures start to rise.

We would ask for children to not attend nursery tomorrow unless you have significant commitments.
If you do attend, please aim for 1pm collection.
(Mini stagecoach will not be happening this week but back next week)

For our babies under 2 years old we would suggest that is safer for your child to be monitored by you and therefore would ask that children in Bees do not attend nursery until the weather alerts have returned to normal, possibly Friday 26th.

We will keep you updated and hopefully we will be open as usual on Monday.

This is a very unusual situation and we like other early years settings have taken this action for the safety and well-being of your children and our staff.

Many thanks

Jan and Sarah

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding

Dear Parents/carers
Following a UK Health Security Agency alert for a RED weather warning tomorrow WEDNESDAY 24TH JUNE and advice for Early Years settings, it may be necessary for nursery to close for the day or a period of time during the day or close early if we cannot keep nursery rooms below the required safe temperature.
AT THE MOMENT WE ARE MANAGING THE HEAT WITH QUIETER ACIVITIES, FANS AND CREATING A COOL DRAFT WHEN POSSIBLE.
We are working to provide a safe and cool environment; however your child’s welfare is paramount, and we do not want to take risks with children’s wellbeing.
We will keep our face book page updated. Please do email or phone if you have any questions.
Thank you for your understanding.
