We empower young people and adults, including those with SEND, by offering cooking sessions and garden projects that foster connections, provide meals and nurture career opportunities. We are a community cookery school operating in Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall, dedicated to empowering young people and adults, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our mission is t

o strengthen community ties by addressing post-COVID isolation, mental health, and food poverty through inclusive cooking sessions and community kitchen gardens. Led by chef Matt Corner, our programs teach valuable cooking skills while participants cultivate crops and connect with peers and the local community. We foster relationships, provide affordable meals, and build confidence and resilience. Additionally, we actively signpost and nurture career opportunities for all participants.
