Our reception children had an amazing end of year trip on Monday when they went pony trekking at great Trethew. They had to muck out the stables, feed their ponies and give them a good groom. They then went out and got to enjoy riding them. It was a magical and memorable experience! !

The Year 6 children had their leavers service last night and it was a magical evening full of laughter and tears. Watching these children grow into the confident and determined young people that they are has been our absolute honour and privilege. They wrote and delivered their own speeches that reflected their time with us. Our very sad loss is the worlds gain as they are ready to take their next steps.

Yarde Farm ice cream has made a bit of a dream come true for our avid growers at school this year. They have been growing various fruits that they have harvested and prepared ready for Yarde Farm to create our very own St Nics ice cream flavour. Every child got to enjoy it in the playground served from our hand built ice cream counter. We are so thankful to yarde Farm for this wonderful experience!

Last week we had the absolute honour of taking some of our children to the RHS at Badminton where we were displaying a memorial garden for our late headteacher Jake Imrie. It featured a 'Mr Imrie' in a monkey suit at an ice cream stand with all of his favourite flowers and vegetables . Photos of Mr Imrie surround the stand and pebbles with messages from the children across the school as well as a water pistol watering station in honour of his mischief and antics in school. So many of the stall holders, organisers and general public spoke highly of the children's work and we were even honoured with Jake's parents joining us on the day. It was heart warming and truly emotional in equal measure and we want to thank Suzie and the children for creating such a special garden.
