See.... Science is amazing.... In the comments you'll see pictures of the giant, pink boulder, that was brought by moving glaciers all the way from Scotland to North Devon... That's like 600 miles!
These pink rocks are common in Scotland but not in Devon!

I like to make people aware of the extraordinary skills that Humans have. No spooky supernatural excuses...
Shakuntala Devi achieved amazing feats of memory and had amazing maths skills.
She performed these talents under strict test conditions and mathematicians are still grappling to explain how she did it with such ease.
Alternative methods tend to be complex and clunky.
She demonstrated Kung Fu in mathematics. The beauty of her responses speak for themselves. 😎😍

Watch this video until the end... I've always found Feynman videos hard to watch because in true American fashion, he will be slow, and will digress. But here it's worth waiting for!!!
In fact, when he digressed into talking about tides, I've finally got it! Why are there 2 bulges of tides on either side of the planet... And it's so easy, now he's explained it. I'd heard he was a great tutor and this proves it. So I've learned 2 great things from this genius Physicist today.

Found out this week that one of my pupils achieved an A* in her GCSE maths with a score of 138. Outstanding. And she was so nervous. I won't even name her as she'd have a melt down. Well done L. 😍
Here's a photo of my Linear paper results for my 'Exam for Fun' resit.
I'll ask L for a photo of hers, but just the numbers, no names! 🤣
It's not the fact that L achieved 138 & the A* more than the fact that she was soooo nervous and full of self doubt. 😍👍😎

Mia was doing her studies through the medium of Welsh while attending a Welsh speaking school. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
I have no issues with teaching Welsh speaking students, as I'm aware of some Welsh words and we have Google translate for references and backup.

A shy and quiet young lady, she was hard working and diligent.
