Today, the School grounds turned pink as pupils and staff come together for Pink Day 2026, celebrating community spirit and showing their support for those affected by breast and other forms of cancer.

The initiative has raised nearly £60,000 over the years and continues to highlight the vital work of local cancer charities and the importance of staying alert to changes in our own health.

Old Tonbridgians and parents working across the property sector came together for a Property and Networking Event.

Hosted by Oliver Knight (CH 97–02), the event featured a panel discussion and Q&A exploring career journeys, industry changes and advice for those starting out.

More than 230 Tonbridge pupils took to the stage for this year’s House Music Competition, delivering an evening of musical talent and House spirit.

Congratulations to Park House, winners of the House Music Cup. Individual honours went to Ferox Hall, who received the Cullen Award for Best Acoustic Performance for Fly Me to the Moon; Hill Side, winners of the Paul Gamblin Award for Best Amplified Performance for Careless Whisper; and Oscar (OH4), who was recognised for Best Arrangement for Everybody’s Changing.

This week, our Upper Sixth artists presented their Work in Progress exhibition, offering a valuable opportunity to pause and reflect on their creative development.

The exhibition represents a significant point in each student’s artistic journey, a moment to evaluate ideas, experiment with materials, and refine their intentions as they progress towards the completion of Component 1: Portfolio.

Will (OH5), Tom (WH5) and Ali (OH5), have each explored the overarching theme of AI with remarkable depth and individuality.

Old Tonbridgian Sam Blackburn (Sc 21-26) is currently representing Hong Kong China U20s in the Rugby Challenger Cup, having earned his selection following an intensive eight-week training camp and rigorous selection process.

We wish Sam and his teammates the very best of luck for the remainder of the tour and look forward to following their progress.

Our Upper Sixth students gathered for a dedicated Pastoral Day exploring leadership, responsibility and the future of work through talks from former Major General Rob Thomson and Transform Society founder James Darley.

Through discussion, reflection and Q&A, pupils were encouraged to think about the values that will shape their future careers and lives.

This first of year’s Independent Plays, The Play That Goes Wrong, was performed in the EM Forster Studio by Second, Third and Lower Sixth boys alongside students from Tonbridge Grammar School. The story followed a performance of a Murder Mystery, produced by a university drama society, during which the ill-fated theatre company encounters numerous mishaps.

Congratulations to the cast and production team for delivering such an entertaining show!

Field Day took learning beyond the classroom as pupils immersed themselves in a wide range of enriching experiences across the arts, sciences, sport, outdoor education and culture.

From hands-on workshops and a concert at Wigmore Hall to conservation projects, engineering challenges and CCF field exercises, boys embraced opportunities to explore new interests, broaden their horizons and develop valuable skills that will serve them well beyond their school years.

The Tonbridge School CCF Guard was proud to perform at the SERFCA Gold Event at the Army Flying Museum, Middle Wallop, on 22 September. Performing before senior military officers and invited guests, the cadets represented the School with outstanding professionalism.

The day also saw Major General John Kendall formally appoint the CCF's new senior cadet leadership team. Congratulations to Rory (HS5), Alexander MH5), Isaac (WW5) and Gabriel (FH5) on their appointments.
