Eleanor Clark Choreography, Tonbridge (2026)

I am an avid choreographer, devising innovative creations with care and compassion. To me, choreography is the purest form of self-expression, allowing me to raise awareness of particular topics and explore psychology through dance narrative and expression of movement. I love nothing more than sharing my enthusiasm for dance, as well as finding the individual strength and potential in students younger than myself, and work to exemplify a teaching style that is utterly non-toxic within my own work.

honestly, saying that this award means the world simply doesn’t feel enough. 🌍🤍✨

it is everything.

a little over a year ago, ECDC was simply an idea.
a little dream built on one hope...
that every child deserved a place where they felt they belonged. 🩷✌🏻🫶🏻🤘🏻

this award isn’t just a trophy. it’s a reminder of what happens
when a dream finds the people
who were always meant to be part of it. 🤍🕊️

a reminder that kindness matters.
that inclusion matters.
and that something built from your heart can become something far bigger than you ever imagined. 🦋💎

but this one feels incredibly special. ✨
because this award really is about more than movement…

it’s about everything that makes us so much more than a dance school.
everything that makes us ECDC 🤍

it’s about the laughter. the friendships.
the connection. the community.  the feeling of walking through our doors and knowing you belong here.

it’s believing that ballet is not a body type.
and that dance should never be damaging to make you a ‘better’ dancer…

that technical excellence, and emotional wellbeing are not opposites, but partners.

that you can have high standards, work incredibly hard, dream really big...

and still feel safe, supported and completely yourself. 🤍

this award is for every dancer
who calls ECDC home. 💌💎🦋🫶🏻

because a dream is only a dream...
until people believe in it. 🪽✨

you are the heart of this place. you are what makes it feel like home. you are the reason I get to do what I love.

none of this exists without you.
you are the spark that turned my tiny idea

UK DANCE AWARDS FINALISTS (!!!!)

I don’t know how to begin to process this…

because somehow,  after everything we’ve built,
after everything that led us to here, after all the tiny moments that nobody else sees...

ECDC has been named a FINALIST in SIX UK DANCE AWARDS categories. 🥹🌷🌸🩷

I think I’m still waiting for that sentence to feel real…

how is this my life?! 😮🌍✨

I started ECDC because I wanted to build the kind of dance school I had always dreamed of.

a place where children could train properly.
where technique mattered. where standards were high. where every. body. could dance, where you could be ambitious and feel safe. where you could work incredibly hard, and still leave class smiling.

and somehow...
that little idea has become this. 🥹

the girls who cheer for each other. who look after each other. who make mistakes and try again. who celebrate each other’s wins. who come into class one way and leave just a tiny bit braver.

that is ECDC. 💎🦋🦭

a school that has grown around one very simple belief:
you never have to choose between exceptional training and feeling safe, supported and completely yourself. 🤍

and I think that’s why this means so much to me.

because I built this little school with my whole heart. 💌

I am so proud of these nominations, of course I am…
but I’m prouder of the school they represent. and even more proud of the girls who make us ECDC. 🌷

these nominations are yours. 🤍
 you are the reason I keep pushing. you are the reason this little dream became something real.

and if this is what we’ve managed to build in our first year...
I honestly cannot wait to see where these girls take us next. 🩰🌷🤍

whatever tomorrow brings,
I already know how lucky I am to have this little school, and to call these girls my ECDC girls.
