Today is TTA Community Day and I'm very proud to be a trusted member of The Tutors’ Association.

Belonging means my clients can be assured that I recognise and abide by the high professional standards which the TTA requires of its members, and gives me access to the latest advice on regulations and policies covering areas such safeguarding and SEND.

I have over 20 years teaching experience, the last 14 years as Head of Physics at Judd School in Kent, UK, where I received a Teacher Award from the prestigious Institute of Physics, and before that at Tiffin Boys’ in Kingston (which I also attended as a pupil).
I am a fully qualified teacher with QTS, a current enhanced DBS and am a member of The Tutor Association, the professional standards body for tutors.

I work with all ability levels on revision, exam technique, catching up and boosting confidence, and have experience working with neurodivergent students.

Since I am not an agency, there is no middleman, no commission and no extra fees!

Why choose me as a physics tutor?

Your child will benefit from my ability to demystify physics concepts at all levels, honed from over 22 years of teaching experience with students of varying ability, from year 7 to 13.

I can help with retakes, UCAS exams, university SATs, practical work and exam techniques to best use time and gain marks. I can help to edge A grades to A* , level 3 to level 4 or just help build confidence.

I am a qualified teacher (QTS), holder of an Institute of Physics Teacher Award, with an honours degree in Applied Physics, a Fellow of The College of Teachers and have a current, enhanced DBS.

Hello! I would like to introduce my services as a Physics Tutor, providing one to one or class groups online. As well as the usual after school hours, I can accommodate tutoring during the 9-5 hours for those students who are Home Schooled or in AP.
All UK exam boards plus IGCSE and IB are covered.
