For my swimming teacher contacts …. Free CPD this month!

Learning to swim is important. Learning to stay safe is essential.

That’s why we have decided to offer our Water Safety CPD (e-learning) to level 2 swimming teachers, for FREE, continuing the water safety messages of June.

It’s the perfect resource to support you as a teacher in getting the water safety message out there, this summer. For the months of July and August you will be able to enrol on to the e-learning free of charge via our website, just register for an account if you don’t already have one, pop it in your basket, complete the checkout and access immediately.

It’s suitable for all level 2 swimming teachers who teach children, and adults too.

Using an AED ….. “Apply pads to a patients bare chest” if someone feels uncomfortable removing a bra - this leads to a delay in starting lifesaving AED use …… you can apply the pads by slipping the strap and placing the other pad, under the bra, under the left armpit . Best practice is to remove the bra , see video below from the UK Resuscitation Council

🙌⛑️ after many hours of training at weekends and self study, myself and 5 other members of the Staplehurst Emergency Help Team have completed our FREC3 First Responder Emergency Care, It has been a fabulous course, great trainer, great team work and valuable life skills enhanced ⛑️😀
