Staplehurst Under 5 Playgroup Staplehurst Under 5 Playgroup has been providing a fun and stimulating environment for pre-school children in Staplehurst and surrounding areas since 1966.

Staplehurst Under 5 Playgroup has been at been at the heart of the community since 1966. Its longevity is testament to its welcoming and friendly staff, of whom many children and adults from the village have very fond memories. Through stimulating play, the pre-school is a fantastic introduction to learning for children aged two to five. All key workers have first aid, covid and food hygiene training (we have a level 5 from the food standards agency).

Today is the very last day ever of Staplehurst Under 5 Playgroup.

We are very sad to be closing this Charity Playgroup that has been running for over 60 years, but we are equally excited for our lovely new business owner Ellen to reopen Early Learning Steps at Under 5s Preschool after Easter in it's place!
It will be opening on Monday 15th April and the new days and hours are Monday-Thursday 8.45am - 2.45pm, with a possibility of a opening on a Friday in September 2024.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our three hard working members of staff, our committee members who stepped up to save our preschool from closing completely all the parents/people who have supported us and helped get us to this point.

A HUGE thank you to all who came along yesterday to support us at our Valentine's Fundraiser. It was a massive success and we raised just over £400 🥳
We hope you and your kiddies enjoyed it, have a fabulous half term 😀
