Our woods had an amazing surprise for us this week as we discovered fungi dotted around the woodland floor! 🍄🌿 This sparked some exciting fungi hunts, with the children showing fantastic observation skills as they carefully searched for different varieties. We discovered fungi in all sorts of shapes, colours and patterns, taking time to look closely and appreciate the tiny details of the natural world.

💛 Wear It Yellow – 9th October
On 9th October, we are asking children to wear something yellow to school and bring in a £1 donation to support Young Minds and their work to support children and young people’s mental health. 💛

A small splash of yellow can help us show that mental health matters and that no child should feel alone.

What an incredible first term it has been!

The children have worked so hard and should be incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. Their enthusiasm, creativity and dedication throughout our Ocean Meets Sky Project have been fantastic to see.

From exploring the wonders of the ocean and sky to creating such thoughtful, imaginative and inspiring work, the children have really embraced their learning. They have shown great teamwork, curiosity and determination, and it has been wonderful to watch their confidence grow along the way.

A huge well done to every child for all their excellent work and effort this term - you should all be very proud of yourselves! 😊⭐

Nearing the end of term it's been so busy... Here's what you've missed so far!

We are so proud of our Year 6s and all the children involved in the most fantastic performance of the Lion King. Despite the heat everyone really pulled through to make this production so wonderful. Well Done Everyone! 🦁🐯🦜🦩🦛
