With 34 years of teaching experience, I can confidently and expertly help, support, encourage, and guide students to better grades. I teach all three sciences, biology, chemistry, and physics at KS3 and GCSE levels and I specialise in A Level Chemistry. I am an enthusiastic deliverer of science knowledge and skills and I am flexible with my teaching methods to suit my tutees. I adapt my teaching m

ethods to suit each student to provide them with a bespoke learning experience. Finding alternative ways of explaining difficult concepts, where required, is a key teaching skill and is an aspect of my work in which I excel. I have taught students from all cultures, faiths and backgrounds and students of all abilities, something for which I am extremely proud. It gives me immense professional satisfaction to help students to raise their grades and meet their potential and become more engaged with science and the world around them. I am an examiner for Pearson Edexcel and have been so for thirty years, gaining invaluable insight into how marks are awarded on exam scripts through being involved in pre-standardisation meetings which develop mark schemes for examination papers. I offer face to face lessons or online lessons to suit each individual. I will be available to book from September for the coming academic year.
