Full time stable lad/lass
We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic, competitive person to join our team on a full time basis
We are a very hands on yard where everyone chips in and helps get the best out of our horses
Attention to detail, being time orientated and being able to work well within a team is important
The role includes mucking out, feeding and caring for young fit racehorses
Keeping the yard clean and tidy
Riding out, putting horses on and off the walker, turning out
Taking horses to the races
Would suit someone keen to develop their riding with a view of race riding in the future, or someone that already has a licence that is keen to work for more opportunities
Opportunity to develop into a more senior role over time
We regularly have runners in Point to Points, amateur rider races and apprentice/conditional races so there are plenty of opportunities for someone looking for this
Would be a 5 day week
Mon Tues Wed Thurs Sat
8:30-5 with an hour for lunch

Not our day today
Locked Down Lad had atrial fibrillation when checked by racecourse vets post race (irregular heartbeat)
Arnie Moon suffered a bizarre and heavy fall which thankfully he and Callum Pritchard walked away from
Frustrating, but very grateful to be taking 2 horses home, both will be given time to fully recover

Looking for someone to do yard work on a Sunday, morning and evening
8:30-10:30 am
5-6pm
Manual work including carrying water buckets, feeding horses, changing rugs, skipping out, sweeping etc
Clean tidy environment to work in, friendly horses
More hours available to right person if required
