❗️❗️Southwest Water are digging up the road in front of the school ❗️Roe class to be picked up at the church gate, Fallow and Sika class to be picked up in the back playground.

❗️As there will be limited parking due to the road being closed outside school. please can we pick up and move on quickly to avoid traffic building up in the village❗️Thank you

Dear parents/carers, please be aware this morning that there has been what appears to be a burst water pipe in the village which has impacted the road in front of the school. Please take extra care on arrival as the condition of the road is very poor. This has been reported.

Hoping everyone is looking forward to returning to school tomorrow!

All information about PE days and anything else needed will be sent out via email tomorrow to all parents.

For those returning, normal arrangements apply to arriving at school but for those who are new:

Playground will be open for Fallow and Sika at 8.40 with children welcomed into classrooms at 8.50.
Roe (Reception and Year1) class will be welcomed in by the church gates at 8.50.

Mrs Gardner (new head of school) will be around from 8.40. Please come and say hello and ask if you are unsure of anything at all 😊

📚✨ We can't wait to welcome everyone back to school on Monday 7th September! ✨📚

We hope that all our children and families have had a lovely holiday and we are really looking forward to seeing all our returning pupils and our new starters.

Please remember that we are a nut-free school and that children can only bring fresh fruit or vegetables for snack time. Thank you for supporting our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for everyone.

📚 Secondary School Admissions for September 2027 Are Now Open!

Devon residents only (excluding Plymouth and Torbay): If your child is starting Year 6 this term, you can now apply for their secondary school place through Devon County Council.

✅ You can express a preference for up to 3 schools.

⏰ Deadline: Midnight on 31 October 2026

Late applications will be considered after all on-time submissions. If your preferred school is full, you may be offered a place at a school further from home, and any transport arrangements would be your responsibility. ❗️Sports day time change❗️
Due to the extreme heat we are now holding sports day at 10am tomorrow morning.

The PTFA will hold the raffle and cake sale on the last day of term after school on the common.
